I am delighted to have created this second miniature watercolor painting of the critically endangered blue throated macaw for a fundraising auction, the proceeds of which will go to the Laney Rickman Blue-throated Macaw Reserve in Bolivia. The auction will be run by The Bird Endowment in the US.

Blackcap In The Hanging Basket has been awarded the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery prize at the Hilliard Society Of Miniaturists annual exhibition 2023.
This painting and seven other miniatures of mine will be on show when the exhibition opens to the public on the 10th June.

Fabulous news to hear that I have four miniatures on show as part of the Royal Miniature Society's 125th annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. This is my first time submitting to the RMS and it was great to travel to London to the grand opening of the exhibition.

I'm absolutely delighted to hear that I have been awarded membership of the Birmingham Watercolour Society.




Delighted and honoured to receive the prestigious INAUGURAL CHAIRMAN'S AWARD at the 2018 Association of Animal Artists annual awards night at Castle Park Arts Centre in Frodsham Cheshire.
It was an amazing evening surrounded by friends and colleagues.
I am seen here with AAA Chairperson Alison Stafford, and Inaugural Chair Anne Corless. On the right is Councillor Alan Oulton, Mayor of Frodsham, who very kindly agreed to 'open' the awards night and present the awards.










I have to thank Dr. Sally Bulgin of 'The Artist' magazine for a year long subscription to 'The Artist', and Rosemary & Co Artists Brushes for two beautiful brush bouquets.
Last but not least, my sincere thanks to the judges for their decision to give me this award. I hope to use this to highlight further this amazing association of which I am proud to be a part...The ASSOCIATION OF ANIMAL ARTISTS.

I also was awarded a 'Highly Commended' for my watercolour painting, 'There Is Always One'. The judge's comments were, 'A good narrative, well executed in a tricky medium'. My thanks to Adele Owen for this award. The full painting is in my 'Latest Work' section.
